Every screen exists because the work needed it, and it runs that company today.
Whether you bill by the hour, by the job, by the session, on retainer or by the square foot, Tillora writes it the way your clients expect to see it.

“+ tax” adds sales tax at your rate. Leave it out or say “no tax” and none is added.
Tap + › New proposal or New invoice, choose the client, and add lines with a description, quantity and price. Tillora adds up totals and tax.
Open it from Money or the client's page and tap any field or line to change it. You can also ask: Add $150 for haul-away to invoice 1341.
Open the approved proposal and tap Turn into an invoice. The lines carry over and the proposal is marked as invoiced.
Open the old document and tap Duplicate as a new invoice (or proposal). Change the client and dates and send.
Tap Send on the document to email the PDF to your client with a short message you can edit.
Settings › Document layout offers layouts from simple to detailed. Standard is the default. Add reusable wording, like a warranty, in Settings › Standard note.
By address, unit and document number, for example 88OakAve_2_Invoice1341.pdf, so they're easy to find years later. Multi-unit jobs use “Units”.

Tillora's fee is 1% on Free, 0.5% on Pro and 0.5% on Business, on top of Stripe's processing.
Open Settings › Payments. When a card payment has cleared, Get paid now sends it to your debit card in about 30 minutes. Stripe charges 1% for instant payouts.
Prefer invoices? Pick Send an invoice each time and Tillora drafts one on each billing date.
Add your standard jobs with three price levels in Service plans › Price book. In a proposal, tap 📒 Price book and add one level, or Offer all three to make three proposals the client chooses from.
Tillora looks for an invoice number in the memo first, then an exact amount, then a combination of that client's open invoices that adds up to the check. If nothing adds up, it records a partial payment and shows what's left.
Open the invoice, tap the payment, and choose Remove payment. The invoice goes back to unpaid.
Add Zelle, check mailing address or bank details in Settings › How clients pay you. They print on every invoice.
In Money, tap Paid. Unpaid shows what's open and Everything shows it all.
Turn on Auto-reminders there and Tillora follows up for you.
Tap the attachment chip on any invoice, proposal or expense. It opens in the viewer inside the app, PDFs included.
Open Money › Reports, pick a date range, and tap PDF or Spreadsheet.
Tap + › Add a client, or just write a document for someone new and Tillora creates the client for you.
Open Inbox and switch to Clients. Each client page shows jobs, documents, payments, notes and a Statement for this client.
Connect your email and client messages appear in Inbox next to their jobs and invoices. Tillora can suggest a reply that you edit and send. Built-in email is rolling out to the iPhone and Mac apps; until it reaches yours, the Email button on any client or document opens your Mail app with the PDF attached.

What we collect, why, and what you control.
This policy explains how Tillora LLC (“Tillora”, “we”) handles information when you use the Tillora apps for iPhone and Mac, the web app, and tillora.com (together, the “Service”).
We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell or rent your information.
We use a small number of providers to run Tillora, and they may process your information only on our behalf:
A business's Tillora text line is for its own team. The business owner adds each team member's mobile number and confirms the person agreed to text the line and get its replies; the team member then sends the first text. The line replies only to confirm what was saved, ask for a missing detail, or send job details from the owner. It is never used for marketing. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop all texts, START to turn them back on, or HELP for help. Details: tillora.com/text-line.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. Mobile numbers and texts are used only to run the text line, and are shared only with the service providers that deliver the messages (Twilio and the phone carriers).
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Records are stored under your business account, and access rules allow only members of that business to read them. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and keep it private.
The apps keep a copy of your records on your device so they open fast and work with a weak signal. Signing out does not delete your records from your account.
Connecting email is optional, and you can disconnect it at any time from the Inbox (you can also remove Tillora's access from your Google or Microsoft account). For Gmail and Outlook, Tillora doesn't keep copies of your messages on our servers, and disconnecting revokes Tillora's access. For forwarding, turn off forwarding in your email's settings to stop new copies, and trash any copies in Tillora whenever you like; trashed email is deleted for good after 30 days.
Tillora's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular, we use Gmail data only to provide and improve the email features you see in Tillora; we don't use it for advertising, we don't sell it, we don't use it to train general AI models, and no person at Tillora reads it unless you ask us to for support, it's needed for security or to comply with the law. When you use an AI feature on an email, only the content needed for that request is sent to our AI provider to produce the result.
The Service is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18.
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect.

The agreement between you and Tillora LLC.
By creating an account or using Tillora, you agree to these terms. If you use Tillora for a business, you agree on behalf of that business.
You're responsible for keeping your login private and for activity in your account. Give us accurate information and tell us at support@tillora.com if you think your account has been misused.
You own the records and files you put into Tillora. You give us permission to store, process and display them only as needed to run the Service for you. You're responsible for having the right to upload what you upload.
Tillora uses AI to draft documents, read photos and answer questions. AI can make mistakes. Review every document, amount, tax line and payment match before you send or rely on it. You are responsible for what you send to your clients.
Reports, tax calculations and contract drafts are tools to help you work. They are not professional advice. Check with your accountant or attorney for your situation.
Tillora lets customers post projects and lets approved pros send quotes. Tillora is not a contractor and is not a party to any agreement between a customer and a pro. We don't perform, supervise or guarantee any work, and we don't set prices or hold payment for jobs.
Pros are independent businesses. Each pro is responsible for their licenses, insurance, permits, safety, pricing and the quality of their work. We review the license and insurance documents pros give us before approving them, but we can't guarantee that every document is accurate or still in force. Customers should confirm a pro's license and insurance and agree to a written contract before work starts.
Fees for pros are shown in the app before you unlock a project or choose a plan.
Businesses can let their clients pay invoices online by card or bank transfer. Payment processing services for businesses on Tillora are provided by Stripe and are subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Terms of Service (collectively, the “Stripe Services Agreement”). By turning on online payments, you agree to be bound by the Stripe Services Agreement, as it may be modified by Stripe from time to time. As a condition of Tillora enabling payment processing services through Stripe, you agree to provide Tillora accurate and complete information about you and your business, and you authorize Tillora to share it and transaction information related to your use of the payment processing services provided by Stripe.
Payments go to your business's own Stripe account; Tillora doesn't hold your clients' money. Stripe's processing fees, and any Tillora platform fee, are shown before you turn payments on. You are the seller to your clients: you're responsible for your prices, taxes, refunds, chargebacks and disputes with your clients, and for any fees or losses Stripe charges to your account.
If your business uses a Tillora text line, you're responsible for using it only with people who agreed to text your business, such as your own staff, and for following messaging laws. Anyone can reply STOP to stop receiving messages from a line, START to resume, or HELP for help. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Full text-line terms: tillora.com/text-line.
If you connect an email account, you let Tillora read and organize your mail and send the messages you choose to send from that account. You're responsible for what you send and for having permission to contact the people you email. You can disconnect at any time.
Tillora is free during early access. Features may change while we improve the Service. When paid plans start, they are listed on our pricing section (Free, Pro and Business). We'll tell you in advance, and you won't be charged unless you choose a paid plan. Tillora keeps a small fee on online invoice payments that depends on your plan (1% Free, 0.5% Pro, 0.5% Business), shown before you turn payments on, on top of the payment processor's own fees.
Don't use Tillora to break the law, send spam, upload malware, access other people's data, or interfere with the Service.
You can stop using Tillora and delete your account in the app at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. Before we close an account for any reason other than abuse, we'll give you a chance to export your records.
The Service is provided “as is” during early access. To the extent the law allows, Tillora LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Tillora LLC is not responsible for the work, conduct, prices, payments or disputes between customers and pros, or for what a business sends its own clients using Tillora.
We work hard to keep Tillora accurate and available, but we don't promise it will be error-free or uninterrupted. Keep your own copies of important records (you can export them at any time) and check invoices, amounts and payment status before relying on them. We aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by services we depend on, such as Stripe, Google, Twilio or your email provider, or by events outside our reasonable control.
If a claim is made against Tillora LLC because of your content, your work for your clients or customers, or your breaking these terms, you agree to cover Tillora LLC's reasonable costs of that claim, including attorneys' fees, to the extent the law allows.
If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we'll tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect.
Tillora sends text messages only to people who agree to receive them: business owners who turn on text alerts in Tillora, and team members who opt in through their employer’s Tillora text line. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to stop receiving texts at any time, or HELP for help. You can also email support@tillora.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We never sell or share mobile numbers or text opt-in information with third parties for their marketing. See the privacy policy for how we handle information.
